Our client is the first online ad network to leverage social data on the Web. It was founded in 2010 and is based in San Francisco. The Company is engaged in Big Data technology.

We are looking for a Sr. Operations / IT Engineer with the responsibility of monitoring, managing systems and network configurations, and troubleshoot problems. 

 

Responsibilities:

• The position requires that the individual provide full IT/Operations support to install/configure/support various software products, network configuration, and monitoring;
• Manage systems, troubleshoot problems and recommend/implement solutions;
• Manage assigned projects and accept responsibility to complete projects in a timely manner;
• Write scripts to support the infrastructure, backup and recovery processes and procedures;
• Write documentation including design documents and procedures;
• Ready to work night shifts.

 

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of Linux (Red Hat, Centos);
• Experience with virtualization, web servers, rdbms (MySQL) and non-sql dbms (Redis, MongoDB);
• Knowledge of monitoring applications such as Nagios, Zabbix;
• Knowledge of one or more of the following scripting languages:Bash, Python;
• Intermediate English.
